Hello everyone!

I have been working for awhile now on an idea for the channel, which I think is finally ready, that involves all of you: Comics Trivia!

The idea will be this - a Jeopardy-style comics based trivia game, with three contestants and myself as host, livestreamed from my YouTube Channel. The game would be hosted via video chat on StreamYard.

So I am in need of folks to participate - for each episode, we will need:

3 Contestants

1 Rule Master (see rules below for what the Rule Master does)

An unlimited number of spectators!

If you're interested in participating, please send me an email on how you'd like to participate and what your available dates and times are (either in EST or designate your time zone)

Official Rules:

There will be three contestants for each game. Each group of contestants will play 2 rounds, consisting of 20 questions per round - 4 categories with 5 questions each. Each category will have questions with a difficulty scale ranging from 1 to 5, 1 of each difficulty present in the category.

The host will start with the lowest difficulty question in the first category on the board. The host will read the question, and once the host had read the entire question, the contestants will have 30 seconds to write their answer on a whiteboard, chalkboard or paper. Once the 30 seconds is up, all contestants will reveal their answers. The Rule Master will make the final decision on a correct answer in question. The amount of points awarded for each question will be based on difficulty. In the first round, a correct answer to a Difficulty Level 1 question is worth 100 points, while a correct answer to a Difficulty Level 5 question is worth 500 points. In the second round, a Difficulty Level 1 question is worth 200 points and a Difficulty 5 Level question is worth 1000 points.

Some questions will allow players to get some but not all of the available points. For example, if the question is “Name 5 comics on @NorseFury  ’s Comics with a Cause list”, it’s the first round, and the difficulty level is 1, each comic named is worth 20 points.

If the question is “Name 5 comic characters in the public domain”, it’s the second round, and the difficulty level is 4, each character named is worth 160 points.

Challenges - Every contestant gets the ability to challenge once per round (not available on the final question). If a contestant can prove to the Rule Master that an answer has been marked incorrectly, and can provide proof of the correct answer, they will receive those points. If they challenge but are not able to prove the corrected answer, they will not receive the points assigned for the question.

Final Question - For the final question, each contestant will have the ability to wager their points. The contestants can wager any amount of points that they have. If a contestant wagers 1000 points and gets the question correct, the player receives 1000 points and if they get the question wrong, the player loses 1000 points. The player with the most points at the end of the second round, wins the game.
