August 2, 2024 Update

Hey everyone!

I realize I haven't been utilizing the website much lately so I thought I'd use it to give everyone an update on how things have been going and the direction of the channel.

In 2 days, I'll have been making videos for 6 months! A nice anniversary and I'm glad to have done as much networking as I have in those 6 months - I've met so many great people!

I am currently sitting at 288 subscribers, which I'm really happy about because it took me almost 4 months to hit 100 and then only another two to get 188 - not a bad growth rate! Although, I've slowed down on the shorts a bit (which to be fair, we're netting me more subscribers) because I wasn't having as much fun making them. What I'm really enjoying doing is making reviews of indie/smaller publishers books that may not get as much reach as DC or Marvel.

In other news, I am excited to be attending Baltimore Comic-Con this year! My intent is to do a bit of live-streaming from the con as well as meeting and networking with creators. I'll also be reporting on some of the panels they have there as well. Additionally, since Baltimore is home of the prestigious Ringo awards, I may do something with that! Please let me know if there's any specific content you're looking for from the Con!

As far as upcoming reviews, I am blessed to receive advance copies of books from BOOM! Studios, Mad Cave Studios, Oni Press, and a few other publishers. These publishers put out a lot of great books so I'll be reviewing a lot of the books being released from these publishers. That means if you want Power Rangers coverage from BOOM or Gatchaman coverage from Mad Cave, I'll have it!

I'm excited to be on episode #26 of the Comics Commute! I love the idea of a casual quick rundown of what I've read in the past week and what I'll be picking up this week. Please check those out!

I'm looking forward to continue creating and hopefully I can reach even more people! I appreciate everyone that has subscribed and interacted with my videos, I am so thankful for the support!
